Waterloo Fire/Rescue is a volunteer fire department that serves the Village of Waterloo and the surrounding areas. WFD has been active for over 50 years and strives to provide the highest level of services through constant recruiting, training, and development of our members. Our key principles are timely response, and professionalism. By developing the members skill sets WFD pledges to keep safety a top priority of each and every member and resident or visitor to our community.
Our hierarchy is made up of a Fire Chief (Travis Harlow), an Assistant Fire Chief (TJ Korpela), an Assistant Rescue Chief (Jeremy Pojar), a Fire Captain (Paul Stewart), a Rescue Captain (Jamie Mitchell) a Fire Lieutenant (Max Mckeever), a Rescue Lieutenant (Jamie Mitchell) a Secretary (Barry Andrews), and a Sergeant of Arms (Joshua Mitchell). The officers of WFD are dedicated to providing the membership with thorough training and education, and ensure that each member has an understanding of their individual roles and obligation to the members of the department and the community.
